I can’t remember who suggested this for me on here so I’m posting a new thread in hopes they read this.
I had put the Thuren Overland system on my truck and wasn’t too thrilled. Rough ride. Someone mentioned my PSI in the tires. Falken WildPeaks at3w 315/70/17s. Factory and tire shop put them at 65! No wonder!
I’m going to do the chalk test this weekend but prematurely I let air out to about 50 and although I get the warning light the ride is so much smoother. Thank you whoever you were! It didn’t even click in my head.

Understand the load / inflation table for your tire and you'll not only be more comfortable, you'll extend the life of your tires. The mfr's set the tires for max payload due to liability issues. Unless you're always maxed out, there's no reason to run those pressures.

For example the Falken AT3W: https://tirepressure.com/lt315-70r17-tire-pressure

or

https://www.falkentire.com/tires/care-safety-warranty

Stock Power Wagon curb weights (divide by 2 as there are 2 tires per axle):

Front axle: 3594 lbs

Rear Axle: 2847 lbs

I have 35x12.50R17 Wildpeak MT's that have a maximum 65 psi rating. Run the fronts a 45 psi and rears at 35 psi, even while pulling a smaller trailer (3,000 lbs.), bed cap, 5 people, and a long weekend's worth of luggage.

I have Thuren front springs and Fox 2.0 shocks on mine, and personally think it rides slightly rougher than stock. This was with the same tires before and after.
