so ive noticed my truck pulling to the left when i apply the brakes. Just started within the last week and even though its overdue for a brake service i dunno what would cause this. Warped rotors would mean shimmying when braking and worn pads would be squealing. what do you think it is?

Could also be a failed hose. They fail internally and they don't let the brake fluid through as well. So in this case, your passenger side brake hose would be bad. If that is what it is. I would just inspect if. See if it looks worn or broken at all.

This is all in addition to what dodge dude94 said.

I'd agree with all this, you have a brake on the right side not working so hot, if its pretty drastic pulling its probably front, not drastic probably rear. Your break might be working but it could be dragging go around and spit or spray something on the right side rotor after driving a bit, if it boils your spit somethings wrong. That will atleast help you differentiate between not working or stuck. When i got my bronco II i took it for my first ride through town with some friends got back the brakes were glowing orange, both rotors lol that thing sat for years before i bought it.

I'd also add that if in doubt, just replace both brake hoses before calipers....they're slightly cheaper. :D

Some shops offer free brake inspections. That way if they quoted it you have an idea what you are into and compare prices for parts. I know allot of customers save tons off $$$ by getting it checked for free and doing the work themselves.

But yeah sounds like you got a stuck caliper or pins.

Not to make you panic, but I found an old photo I took of a customers vehicle who let the brakes drag for a few miles.
