Not a problem. That check valve is actually very commonly deleted because of issues like this. Lotta guys have been suckered into a rebuild when it's just a clogged check valve. Or it clogs and actually blows the trans.
What it does is keep fluid in the converter when you shut off the truck. The trans doesnt pump in park so if the valve wasnt there and you started it and tried to take off right away the converter would need to fill before the vehicle moved. However, if you start it and shift to neutral for 10-15seconds while you tune the radio, put on your seat belt, etc it's enough time. That's what most deleters do. However, shift kits replace the manual valve in the valvebody and allow pumping in park. Or if you just want to replac the manual valve it's fairly cheap from Sonnax but nobody ever wants to drop the valvebody to install it lol.
