RAM Bed Toolbox

Drove a lot of miles to look at a highly optioned 2500 yesterday before I knew it has the Ram bed toolboxes. Does anyone know if you can place a camper shell over those.? Seems a thick seal might cover all the groves and gaps but maybe someone has done this with bad results. The cargo management system is nice that is also on the truck but all that with tool boxes reduces the amount of usable space. Sure would not want leaks. The boxes are nice but I plan to tow a trailer and put bicycles, etc in a secure bed. Advice appreciated.
