Does anyone have experience with/info on this kit? It’s currently sold out on Rough Country’s website. I’m considering going that route in the near future unless somebody has had a bad experience with the kit that might change my decision. Anybody know when it’ll be back in stock? There was a thread on this about a week ago but it fizzled out and the guys who said they were getting them installed never came through with feedback/pictures. Thanks gents

I'm in the market for a 2.5" suspension lift this spring. I don't know anything about RCX lift kits, but I know Rough Country is on the lower end of quality parts. I've been looking at BDS and Icon, both using Fox shocks, but I haven't made any final decisions yet.

Guys I have a 2WD and I am talking about 2wd’s as stated in the title. Icon and BDS and Zone do not make 2WD kits

I bought this exact kit for my 2012 2wd 1500. It got delivered last week. I havnt installed it yet, I gotta wait until its warmer weather here in the northeast as I don't have a garage but overall the contents of the kit seen like they are made really well.

Edit: Yea I'm pretty sure that thread was by me lol... shops want $1500-$2000 to install the 6" RC lift lol. One shop wanted $2,600. **** that, I'm gonna wait until it's warm out and do it myself. No lift but I can do it with jack stands and a jack.

Good stuff. Keep me posted after you install! Do you think you will have to buy the carrier bearing lowering kit to keep the front end from vibrating when accelerating from a stop? I read that may be a problem, but maybe not... who knows.

Also, did you buy directly from Rough country or a secondary site?

I bought it directly from Rough Country, but through Amazon. It was shipped and sold by Amazon so even if RC is sold out on their site, their Amazon isn't sold out because the kits are stored at a Amazon warehouse until bought.

Same price as their site, same kit. Free prime shipping and the seller was Rough Country so if I have any issues I know I can get them taken care of.

Above^^^

I feel like I could do it myself too but all I have is the jack that came with my truck and I’m pretty sure that won’t cut it plus all the tools needed I don’t have at my disposal
