Not sure how much recline you could go there, moving the whole seat forward would be needed to provide required amount of rear clearance. Assume you would just use a reclining rear seat out of a mega-cab. If you have full crew cab, maybe you could work it out, making leg space more like an extended cab. Don't think you could do this in an extended cab. I suggest finding a mega-cab, take measurements of space between rear of seat and cab wall, and then between front of lower seat part and back of the front seat (fully pushed back). Then see what that looks like in measurements in your truck. Good luck, take pictures if you do it.

The megacab's seats do recline some. Didn't think the DS bodys would allow it otherwise.

To clarify some of the Crew cabs come with a reclining seat. But only the Limited and the Longhorn.

I just bought a set of 2020 Laramie leather heat/vent/power passenger/memory driver seats to swap into my 2022 BH Crew Cap with Level 1 Equipment Group. I'm progressing some; but the swap is very complicated. I'm having to steal at least 20 wires from the donor truck harness and add them to my truck. But, back to the point, the Laramie seats are identical to the seats in my truck except leather instead of cloth. Seems to make them recline would be more difficult than I'm willing to take on.

My 2020 1500 TD rear seats recline…….some….. by scooting the seat bottom forward. It’s a nice gimmick, don’t think anyone who ever sat back there used it…….except the grandkids. Told them about it and they get to playing who can pop those split seats into “recline” mode the fastest.
