Reinstalling removed emblem?

For those who have rebadged, what condition were they when you got them off? Specifically the big “RAM” on the tailgate.

I had the idea, of taking the “M” off, flipping it upside down so my tailgate reads “RAW”

ive never heard or seem it done, but I’m pretty stoked to go through with it.

If you use the fishing line method to "cut" the letter off the tailgate, the letter should come off looking like new.

It's the Ram's head tailgate that is indented, the RAM tailgate has been flat with two alignment holes per letter

I used an old credit card to get mine off. They're still in great shape.

I use waxed dental floss. Takes a few pieces but no chance of scratching or abrading your paint.

Was taking too much time, so I visited auto zone and purchased a 3M Adhesive Eraser Wheel. Dang, they are slick

Yep. That will definitely do the trick!

When you removed them, what did you use to remove the residue from the vehicle?

I rubbed it with my finger to get the heavy pieces off, then just used some “Goo Gone” for the residual adhesive.

It would have taken longer to go get the wheel than. It took to do it by hand for me anyway.
