I have a 2019 Laramie Longhorn with 5000 miles and I have road rash already on box in front of tires. Has anyone else experienced this?

On my 2015, when I added my 35's, I stopped by a window tinter in town, and for $60 they put clear film paint protector on it, worked like a charm, behind front wheel and rear, in pic, but cant see it. Right behind the black factory guards.

Rock chips are part of life where I live. I just did my annual rock chip touch-up ritual on my new truck that I bought just before winter hit. I can't believe how thin the paint is on this truck. I wanted to have the dealership add the protective film when I bought the truck, but they don't do that anymore, and referred me to a tint shop an hour away.

It happens. I always have a clear bra installed on the front shortly after I buy a new to me vehicle. Worth every penny.

On Day 2 with the CTD a rock chipped the front bumper.

The paint protection film is way cheaper than having your truck spot painted.

I'm at 20k and I Have I don't have any rock chips in that location since i have the step bars as they block the rocks. I do have PPF on my front bumper/facia and front of the hood.

The "box" is the truck bed. So, he's referring to the outside area of the fender between the rear door and the rear wheel. I have a brand new 3500 dually and noticed yesterday that I have two rock chips in this same area. After the virus crap is over with... I'm going to get a clear bra installed across the front and on the rear fenders where they flare out over the rear wheels.
