How is the factory tpms reset upon tire rotation on dually?

The dealership claims front left to right rotation is standard procedure.

When I insisted proper rotation, they didn't know how to reset the tpms.

They should have the ability to set the location of the TPMS on the tires. If they won't do it, any good tire shop should be able to do it.

The outer rears and fronts will find the new location if moved. The inner rears will only move side to side. So if you put an inner rear on the front the display will still show it on its inner rear position.

On mine, just never did the rotation. Didnt seem to affect much. The stock junk nexens blew up long before they showed any wear.

There’s a book that comes hidden in the truck that has this information. It maybe located in the glove box. It’s called the owners manual, people once had to read them to get answers.
