I have a small scratch in my chrome bumper. As a cheap fix I a planning to mask off the scratch, sand it with fine grit paper and cover it with silver paint. Scratch is small and low, and this should prevent any future rust. My neighbor of course suggested I simply buy a new OEM chrome bumper. My solution is $15, his is $300+

Tossing this out there to see if there are any other suggestions.

Thanks all

if you are going to paint it, pretty sure there is a "chrome" paint that I believe duplo makes. i use to have a can of it for my tacoma chrome bumper. i used rustchek spray on rust inhibitor first and the chrome spray then a clear.
