Hemi 5.7 (392 Hemi) 86 Ford .308 HO Roller
Check the vacuum line. If the code comes back clean the Map sensor if you have one up front like the Hemi, I get the odd 0172 especially after re-oiling my K&N.

Use a little less oil on your filter...a P0172 is common with an overly oiled filter.

A New K&N drop-in will give that Code on an 03 Hemi, But I hear you, Its Not a Good Idea to OverOil them especially on the Clean side. I clean my new Map sensor everyonce in a while anyhow. Good advice, Adam.

Use a sensor safe oil! Green makes one.
