Hey Guys,

Questions on Header install

I am going to install my BBK shorty headers this weekend on my 08' 1500 4x4. My question is for anyone that has done this before, i would like a little feedback, as to what kind of problems you ran into if any and if not how was the install. I Have the stage 8 bolts and the mopar gaskets already.

Has anyone had trouble with the bolts (stripped, rusted, stuck, etc.) and how was the install of the new ones. did you have to raise the engine to get the new headers on and if so how did that go. and did everything fit/ lineup in the end.

I appreciate any info that anyone can give me.

Thanks

Spray everything down with some penitrating oil the night before and let it soak in. The horse **** of a ball joint dodge used with the clips and bolts may break so be prepaired to deal with those.

yup, agree with Kenneth, and while it will stink, warm the truck up, it will loosen them up versus doing them cold.
