Side mirror lights

Wondering if anyone has modified the side mirror marker lights to stay orange when the headlights or drl lights are on? Such a big strip of plastic to only house the turn signal blinkers!! I think it would be cool to add running lights on them??

Boostautoparts.com. I emailed them to ask if they could build a kit w amber running lights instead of white.
