1997 Ram 1500 Sport extended cab with 4" lift - The truck is a little too high for me, but after getting a quote to remove the lift kit, I decided to take a look at side steps or running boards. From what I've read, the best option would be side steps, strictly for help getting in the truck. (Yes/No?) I was wondering if side steps or running boards off another make would work on a Ram 1500. (Provided they are the correct length.)
If I were to find a set of side steps or running boards off a ford or chevy that were the right length for my cab, would they work (bolt up)?
