so heres the verdict my original litters per 100 km with stock intake with the 4 inch lift and 35s from rusagonis to moncton nb was average 16.7l per 100 km at 100 km per hour aprox 35 dollars in gas this is a 160 km trip
i instaled a diy cai i made from a 99 gmc suburban intake with heat shield and some other parts laying around and placed a long piece of dryer tubbing from the heat shield down to the front bumper
and drum roll please
after the same trip at 100km per hour i go 14.5 l per 100 avg on 20 dollars in gas this was with a cheap no name brand 3 inch inlet filter i had laying around i now have on order a much larger 4 inch inlet filter i will post any more gains
so just to say mythbusters a cai intake dos improve fuel economy and power truck also has much more response which was show durring a holy crap moment were i had to put to the floor to pass a semi that was cutting me off
