sport bumper?

i want to get a sport bumper now that i just ordered my srt hood.
i called the dealership, and they said it's gonna be $975 which is a little steep (without the brackets and such)

anyway, where can i get one for around $500 or so that isnt a cover???

anyone wanna sell me one?

Check around on your local craigslist, there might be wrecked trucks that are parted out, etc

No need for the brackets. You can trim the inner pieces of the cover (the area in the middle that will be covered by an insert).

BUy this and the insert and be done.

what the crap!? ive been looking all over ebay and craigslist to find one and i never saw that one hah

is that a bumper cover though? i found plenty of those, i want one to replace the chrome bumper i got right now...

You will do some trimming to the cover to get it to work over top of your chrome bumper. Then you just have to figure out how to attach it. Shouldn't be hard though

Yeah but I want the one that comes factory on the sport models rather than one that just covers the one on it now

it would be the one that comes factory. The sport bumper is basically a plastic cover overtop of an unfinished steel bumper(support bumper)

I believe it gets rather expensive to buy the sport bumper shell and all the support stuff, that is why a lot of people will hack up their chrome bumper or trim the sport bumper shell to make it work.

when you say trimming, do you mean the back of the cover? and with what? lol
i really wanna do all this.
and did he take the upper bumper bad off for the install and just leave the chrome?

Yes the upper part comes off the chrome bumper becomes your support.

In the first pic I posted it shows what he trimmed on each side of opening above the license plate.
