Hey yall new to the forum trying to get some info on some upgrades..

My truck is stock 5.7 hemi besides remote start and cold air intake lol so tax season is right around the corner and it's time to make her breath better. I'm gonna go aftermarket coils all way around new wite plugs. Also I want to do headers no cat? Or high flow? Diablo tuner. And I was think maybe different cam. And gonna do a 2 inch leveling kit for sure has 35x12.50x20s right now but yall already know lol.

So if anyone has some better info for me brand wise links to products.

I will be doing all the work myself so don't include labor cost into it lol

Thank you. 3200$ is my rough limit

Okay. I need to know what this means------> "I'm gonna go aftermarked coils all way around new wite plugs."

Are you saying you are wanting to install aftermarket, performance ignition coils with new spark plugs?

So, lets open up the 5.7 HEMI's lungs a little bit. A quality set of Long Tube Headers will go a long way in making more power and sounding great when coupled with the right mufflers. There are budget long tube headers like the ones from DNA Motoring and then there are expensive sets like the ones from JBA or Kooks. I have experience with both and acutally like my budget set better than the expensive set.

If you want the best sound and want to squeeze as much power as possible out of it then I would run a true dual exhaust setup with NO CATS. I would use a 2.5" pipe off of the headers collector and I would use an X-Pipe just after the bend in the pipe that comes across from the left side. For a pair of mufflers, I think you may like the Spintech Pro Street 6000 Series. Its a great sounding muffler and they sound awesome with a pair of Long Tubes in front of them. Since you wont have any cats you will need to get a tuner that can eliminate the DTC's for not having any cats and you may have to go with a custom tune from one of the favorites around here like hemifever or Jay Greene just to name a couple. There are plenty of tuners out there that can write a custom tune for you so it will take a little bit of research.

Now, if you want to stick a cam in this thing you are gonna have to make some decisions. How much power do you really want to make? Do you want to change the torque converter? How about a bigger throttle body or larger injectors?

Some more information from you about your plan would help. With the funds you will have available I could take a stock 5.7 like yours and with some well thought out parts and some tuning I can make 435HP.

If you want to really get some performance out of this thing I would take those heavy 35" tires off and get some sticky meats but that is just my opinion. If you really wanted to get creative with your budget and show off your fabrication skills, pick up a used turbo and fab up your own kit and set it up to make about 7.0psi of boost and with some custom tuning you can really have some fun.
