Stock keyless entry... or not?

I am the third owner of my 02 Quadcab 1500 and have never had a remote for keyless entry, however it’s the SLT model so has electric door locks. I’m assuming since it has the door locks that new it came with remote key fobs. How can I tell if this is the case so I can get replacements? Is there a main transmitter unit I should look for under the dash? If so what does it look like?

The transmitter is a plug in box on the back of your instrument cluster.

The amazon link is a programmer for the fob. Comes with one fob.
