Tail light strip

I have a 2023 Limited with the 2-way tailgate. I want to mount a tail light strip under the tailgate but because of the 2-way hinge setup there's no room to mount the strip easily. Has anyone else had this problem and come up with a solution? I always added the extra light strip on my other trucks and miss the extra illumination when backing up.

A while back this was talked about, and I think the answer was a 2 piece light bar. Maybe someone else will remember. I know Putco offers a 2 piece one.
