It depends on whether they're willing to negotiate at all on that price. $174k USD. I wouldn't be surprised if someone bought it tomorrow, but I also wouldn't be surprised if it sits for weeks. Eventually someone will buy it. I just wish I was in the position to be that buyer :D

I agree, lol. I can live vicariously through my buddy, who is in that position,as i can drive/race his Demon/ Red Eye etc, when i want to,but it's not the same as being able to buy one,and not think about the price.

Would your buddy consider adding any Americans to his circle of friends? :p

I dont like the wheels...
I don't usually like bright wheels, but I really like how those look on that car. Maybe if they were a bit smoked and didn't stand out quite as much. But I love the design of them.

I'm old,the wheels were the only thing i did like about the car, lol. I hate black / brass monkey style wheels,i'd take chrome or polished aluminium over those any day :waytogo: Theres a guy on one of the Challenger boards, that's actually putting old school 15X7 and 15X10 5 spoke Cragars on his late model Challenger,he's got the front hubs/brakes modified to fit the old school 15's,and is working on modding his rear brakes/hubs to bolt the back ones on,and damn the car looks good with them

That's an awesome-looking vehicle, but I have trouble getting my head around the fact that my first house in a great neighbourhood cost much less. Of course, that was a few years ago, you know, about 36 years ago. LOL

My only real complaint with the car is what is wrong with the people building a wicked car like that with an automatic transmission, that's just brain-dead in my books.

Too bad if the newby crowd is afraid of an extra pedal with a stick on the side.

I seen that car about a week ago. He also has Red 170.

I was look at Spyder but passed.

On the weekend Mecum sold 170 for $175k US, comes out to about $240K CA. So about the same price he's asking.

A 170 is not the same as a Ghost by a long shot, lol. The ghost is just a rebadged last call Red Eye,the 170 is a totally differant animal.

The 8 speed is noticably quicker, and way easier on driveline parts, lol. You can buy a 717 horse Hellcat with a stick, but they don't put a stick behind the 797 horse and up cars,as the warrenty claims would probably go through the roof. You gotta think that quite a few of the 797+ cars are gonna have slicks/drag radials bolted onto them, and then subjected to fairly high rpm clutch drops, and the 6060 is probably going to get a bit grumpy, lol

My reaction times are still excellent. I catch the red lights super quick. Its the only thing I can stay focused on these days lol.
The last big race i was at,was our local Hemi Shootout, where i made it to the final round with a foot braked street car,in a field of 64 dedicated bracket cars, lol.
