I thought gap insurance only covered what was left on a loan after insurance? That way if you owed more than you got you were covered.
for those that are wondering it was a total loss, they gave me 43000$ for it, and i owed 35000... leaves me with some money to play with the new ride (2012 wrx)

After driving the Sti and the new wrx, I didn't see where the Sti was worth more, the insurance I had wasn't really gap insurance, it was more like a insurance that if I totaled my truck within the first 2 years they give me what I paid for it.

fuel economy was the major reason. i was dropping nearly 250-300 bucks a month on fuel alone. another reason was that i never really used it as a truck, for the year and a half that i had it, nothing more then a shovel was ever in the box. it was more then i needed.... but i still loved it, and would of never of sold it for that reason.
