Hi all, got a 2014 2500, stock Firestone A/T tires. Sticker recommends 60/80 PSI. I put 60 all around, but was wondering how low I could safely go for the bet possible ride. I don't ever tow at all, and don't haul anything more than groceries, LOL. I just use her as a Daily driver for commuting. I don't care about the TPMS, as i just ignore it. So lowest, i can safely drive at?:roflsquared:

Lowest i would go would be till the tire wears flat
In a parking lot or concert driveway Put a line of shoe polish across the treads. Drive straight 30-40 yards and check the shoe polish till you get it to wear off evenly.

I have a 2014 2500 mega cab 4x4 with the 6.4 Hemi.
I run 57 front and 47 rear.
Front is great at that preasure.
I'm thinking about lowering the rear down to 44 or 45 because the rear is still wearing in the center a bit.
I ignore the tpms as well but it still sucks having to clear the warning on my in dash display.
I with I could totally deactivate the tpms. I don't need a computer telling me what air preasure to run. Damn government!

Do the 2014 models not give the light load tire pressure option like my 2011?

My door jamb says 75 front and 80 rear for regular load and 65 front 45 rear for light load.
Has a button on the dash that lights up for the light load setting.

Thanks man. I'm sure you are living your Laramie as well. Mine is a Lonestar. I just installed Marathon seat covers in it last weekend. It took the factory 4 weeks to build my truck and it took Marathon 11 weeks to make my seat covers. Who woulda thunk it. lol

A Lonestar is the same as a Bighorn except Lonestar is only available in Texas.
I ordered mine and with all the extras I added on its basically a Laramie without leather seats, chrome mirrors, projector headlights, and led tail lights.
I actually did not want leather opting instead for my Marathon seat covers.
I have the 8.4 AN radio and all the good stuff a Laramie has just cost a few thousand less

It's just a package. Nothing really different than the BigHorn except the badges but as you could see I took them off.
It's kind of like Chevrolet has a Texas addition as well.

Anyone know why the 1500 Sport rcsb has pressures of right around 40 when the 2500 is so high?

1500s are lighter and arnt built for hauling like the 2500s are. Plus the tires they have require more pressure

The tires don't require more pressure. Just because it calls for 80 on the tire doesn't mean it needs 80 or anywhere close.
On a side note what is the lowest one could go before throwing a tpms light?
