Just got done installing the total flow 5" exhaust tips. I went with the stainless/chrome, not exactly which they are, but my guess is chrome since the entire tip is finished. Fit and finish is great. They are the same length as oem, maybe a hair shorter so they don't stick out quite as much. Install was easy, only thing that would have made it easier was a grinder with a cutoff wheel to cut the weld on the clamp. I was able to wiggle and break the weld with minimal effort. I used a piece of cardboard from the box to use as a spacer so that I spaced the tips even in the bumper cutout. Overall, definitely worth the $100 or so I paid for them. I had previously contemplated buying 2 weld or clamp on exhaust tips and cutting off the oem tips and welding on new ones. However, you're still looking at almost $50 a piece for a quality 5" exhaust tip. If you're on the fence, get them. Are they carven quality, probably not, but they're still less than half the cost and offer great looks. They're available in the chrome or black version for the same cost.

Very nice! I've been looking for a set of affordable black ones. Looks like I've found them. Bookmarked this page and the site.

Look good, lets see how they last. My Carvens I'm now on my 3rd set due to rust. Luckily the warranty is pretty seamless but doesn't give me much faith in SS tips when aftermarket (good aftermarket) rust within a year on $200 tips.

Got mine installed today. I like the way they look! I used new clamps, definitely glad I did...the original ones were pretty crispy

Looks good. I have to crawl under my truck and try to straighten my drivers side pipe, it seems to be sticking out too far to the drivers side and causing the tip to be angled slightly. May have to rotate muffler slightly to get it where I need it.

I noticed my drivers side stuck out further by the slightest bit. I could mess with it or just leave it until I'm ready to change out my muffler and mess with it then. Haven't decided which direction I want to go on the muffler yet, but I'm happy with the tips so far.

I bought a set of Carven 5" last year for $200. Look exactly the same. I don't know about the quality of mine though. One New England winter and they're rusting away already. May have them powder coated black or the truck color gray.

Old thread, I know.... but .... if anyone is thinking of exhaust tips, get the MBRP tips, they are beautiful. I put them on last year, and they look amazing.
