I finally took on the tow hook relocation bracket project and threw in a RC 30" curved light bar. What a PITA getting the brackets fabbed up and then also making brackets to tie the light bar into the tow hook brackets for mounting. It was tight fit but I love it though.

In what sense are the hooks relicated. They seem in the same spot

I ask because i have a 34" and trying to get tow hooks in there somewhere.

The new brackets I made pivot the front of the hooks toward the fog lights. Now after moving them it gave me 33 1/4" opening between them which barely fit a 30" light bar. I have 3/8" space now between my hooks and the light bar on each side. Plus, the Sport models bumper is shaped where if you mount hooks normally they rub the lower portion of where they sit. Moving them outwards put them in a more natural spot in the shape of the lower bumper opening.

For your brackets, did you come up with your own design or use the template a forum member Ken(?) came up with a while back? He shared/posted the CAD files online.

Looking to tackle this project myself, but no where near a fabricator so would need the brackets fab'd for me.

@JB1 did the same as you and both look awesome.

There's a member here that's made a few sets of re-location brackets (great quality from what I've seen/heard) and I believe theyre based off of Kens design, just not sure if that one allows fitment of the light bar in-between.

I used Ken's design. They didn't pivot the hooks out far enough though for me to fit a 30" light bar in between, so I had to alter the brackets I made.

That's what I needed to know, thanks. I believe I have the same 30" curved light bar as yourself, looking to mount it between the tow hooks.

Any info on the modifications would be appreciated.

I made a template of it. I can make a better one with measurements and snap a pic to post here if you want

I'd like to see a template of the light bar mounting brackets you came up with to go with them.

Just popping in, still very curious about your template. My truck is needing to look as good as yours with the hooks/light bar.
