Tranny "swap"

Question....My '95 Dodge 1500 4x4 has the 5.2 V8 auto tranny with OD shifts S M O O T H ...my '01 Dodge 2500 V10 aint catchin OD...can I swap the auto tranny's???Dont need OD in the '95 for off-road.I know the bolt pattern should be the same but not sure about ALL the other stuff!!

Theyre completely different. 01 V10 is a 47re and 95 v8 46rh. They won't even bolt up

Maybe I should "Mud" the '01 2500 V10 4x4...drive/tow with the '95 1500 4x4!!!
