Upgrading sub in my 2020 ram

Not sure if this has been discussed yet but I want to upgrade my sub behind my seat. Anyone do this yet? My truck is a 2020 1500 new style with H/K system.

I just finished upgrading my whole Alpine system. The DSR1 really integrated very well. Could be done with the HK system but you would need to do a lot more just the subs at that point. You can use PAC controller and bypass the ANC mic’s as well. There is a few options out there. ANC bypass harness and a Hertz HCP 1 amp with high level inputs would work too.

Can you share details of what you components you used for the upgrade? I have the Alpine system as well and not overly impressed with it

In my last two 4th gen 1500's with Alpine systems I swapped in a Pioneer 8" shallow sub, used a Audio Control LC2i feeding a Alpine MRV-M250 amp. Added a ton more thump for not a lot of cost.

I also dynamat'd the inside of the factory box to stiffen/deaden it up a bit.
