I would say new rotors and pads a basic break job, rotors today are cheap enough IMO a waste of $$$ to get them turned! Also they are not as thick as they were years ago and turning them if possible would make them thinner and easier to warp, BUT the best thing to go is have someone who knows trucks/cars way better then me look at them. Do you have a mechanic you can trust?
Trucks are like dating you are always shelling out $$$ to make them happy lol My RAM is getting new tires today :O Hope she likes them lol

agree. turn the rotors and they are going to warp.

what tires did you get?

Well the best brake shop and the only one I really trust for it is closed today and they might be closed for the rest of the week so I will update when I'm able to get in. Thanks for the replies. And I'll see what they say.

what tires did you get?
I am trying NEXEN Winguard WINSPIKE Snow tires ! Alittle over 750$ mounted ,balanced , Free rotation, free summer tire swap and road hazard !
Never used them before but ran them yesterday and they are very quiet and seem to grip pretty good. They were OOS in the size of the tires I went in for, but had a screw in 1 tire and didn't want to wait ! Plus I did not want to spend 1k on tires since I just got my RAM a couple months ago.. :O:favorites13:

Sometimes when I'm braking the truck kinda shakes and vibrates and I'm not really sure if it's anything to be checking or if I just never noticed it. Any help would be appreciated

Since you said "Sometimes when I'm braking" it could be your antilock engaging. Have you experienced this issue on dry surfaces or slick and slippery?

I experience it wet or dry mostly from about a 55 mph roll

Okay guys I visited the shop and thy said that I most definitely have a warping in the rotor and it's probably better now a days to replace them instead of resurfacing them. They also told me to avoid any of the crazy rotors like the drilled and slotted that they have caused problems.

In my limited technical experience; that's a valid statement. From the research I've done; drilled and slotted rotors are only truly beneficial in limited circumstances and actually reduce the rotor pad contact surface.

When I went up to larger (re: heavier!) tires, I realized I needed to upgrade my brakes too...I'm looking at Centric Rotors with Hawk Pads personally.

I might do stainless braided brake lines too if I can find a reputable company.

I am on the look for some good rotors and pads. I want good ceramic pads and a good brand rotor
