From 07-19, I had a ******. For 6 yrs I had a 02 2500, then a 96 3500. I guess I just wanted a newer truck, so I traded it in on a 2014 2500 Hemi. It was fine, pulled our travel trailer ok, but I really missed the power. The other day (Dec. 23) I saw a 1999 3500 Laramie for sale with only 177,000 miles on it. As a plus, it was a 5 speed manual, not an automatic. I pulled the trigger on it and love it again!!! Of course I knew there were a few maintenance things I needed to do. Flush coolant system, change oil, replaced rear brakes and wheel cylinders (one was leaking) and the upper ball joints. As of right now, I think it is ready to take a trip pulling our 34' travel trailer. (after a front end alignment). But, I'm happy to be back with more torque and a better way to control the shifts when pulling. God bless everyone and hope you all have a happy New Year.20211229_153053.jpg20211229_153114.jpg20211229_153133.jpg20211229_153202.jpg20211229_153255.jpg

Just be careful with that nv4500 trans and don’t lug it in 5th. I am sure you know this but never hurts to be reminded, especially the way these engines pull. Nice looking findby the way. I think I am kicking myself for selling my 01 3500 to my son. I rebuilt the nv4500 and transfer case in it, he has since been working on interior, installed the tuner and exhaust, whatever else he can think of.

Nice looking ride & for the most part looks well taken care of. I recently purchased an 02 from my stepfather, cummins 24 valve for a very good price w/NV5600 trans. Good luck with it, the power of the cummins if taken care of is worth the difference
