I have some conflicting information.
I have found this cam listed as 218/224-113lsa and called a "Track Cam".
Currently on their website the 218/224 6.1L cam is 114lsa with 571/556 lift. Strangely their Race version is said to be 224/228-114lsa with .561/.564 lift.

So I need to know exactly what I have before moving forward. Tried a email address for Andy at PPP but it was kicked back. Sent contact information and haven't heard anything. So if anyone has information how to read the information on the cam butt, pls let me know.
Thanks,

Find a speed shop (rare bird these days, I know) or a place that has what I think they used to call a cam bench? Chuck it in and reads the lift and duration.

I am fortunate in having a couple very good engine performance shops in my area. But having the grind numbers should tell me what I want to know rather than spending money having a shop run a cam wizard on it.

This is what I have been told from another forum. Running the number on the Comp Cam site failed to come up with anything.

218/224 113lsa
6.1 track warrior

1431-12 is the serail number that comp would use to identify

Is that the same cam specs you sent me last night?

Ken, yes

[email protected] 218/224
@.006 tappet lift: 268/274
Gross valve lift: int. .587/ exh. .573
113lsa
111 degree center line

Labeled as:
PPP - 6.1 Track Cam, which is advertise as:218/224 - .571/.556 - 113lsa

There seems to be some discrepancies, so I'm still not certain.

I hope to hear from PPP or Comp Cam to verify what it really is.

Oh how fun it is to nail down the cam specs without a matching cam card. Hell 90% of the shops make a small tweek on each cam to see how it performs for the next guy it seems. You will have same #s but then they change the ramp rate on the lobe, or the keep the rates the same and move the center line. Keep us in the loop, best case would be they both come back with the same specs.
