If you check the autopia web site you should be able to locate a professional detailer in your area. Make sure you check out their work and get references.

Yea, I'd like to find a shop somewhere in GA that knows what they are doing and at least get one really good detail. I'll have to check out some of the sites you guys have listed. I do like both the Meguire's Gold Class wash and wax, and the Adam's car shampoo.

I'm looking for good detail shop in GA as well, anywhere between Atlanta and Gainesville.

I'm a bit older than most of you guys, not as much grease left in these elbows.

The guys at Atlanta Auto Salon are the best in the area, and use/sell our products as well:

Pollen will scratch through any wax or sealant! It has to be rinsed/lifted or it damages.

Something I have learned from experience: Maguires Gold-Class leaves a pretty nice finish, but it doesn't last long through washed, sun, or even weather. The liquid even more so.

Also- what did you use before the gold class carnuba? If the product contained any oils, it will prevent waxes/sealants from adhering to the paint.

In the peak of pollen season, I use Optimum No Rinse. It has polymers to basically buffer the abrasive pollen. It also happens to do a good job on bird bombs and most bug goop. All without scratching or affecting wax or sealant.
