Which includes the clear coat which is about 2 mils

Measured mine when I got it brand new and it varied as our trucks are not painted as assemblies. I used my fe/al dual metal guage as everything is steel and the hood is aluminum on my 4th Gen. My highest reading was barely 5.5 mil. I would consider 10-11 mil excessive and probably a repaint.
