Yikes, the clutch cut through or broke through the case. As many broken Trak-Lok carriers I have removed and replaced I haven't ever seen one like this.

Did the clutch pack actually go through the carrier, or is that just a chunk sitting there? Also, you ring seems to be missing some teeth. Looks like a good time for upgraded gears and lsd. I've been very happy with my Auburn.

I knew clutch disc's needed replacement, thought I might get by with $100 in parts, but when I tried to pull the axles wtf! I'm now up to $1400 in parts, includes a Eaton.
Some interesting replies lol.

Lol I remember when I opened mine to find the same thing. Broken clutch disks, missing teeth in ring gear and major pitting in the bearing race. Wish you luck and have fun with the new little project
