Good to hear there is still room for improvement. Sub 5 secs would be awesome.

its amazing that a 4700 pound brick on wheels can do that these days. back in the 80s and 90 you were luck to get 9 sec 0 to 60 with basic mods.

You got that right, my current truck would beat the old '88 IROC Camaro I used to have. I think it's great, I have a truck because I'm a homeowner and it comes in handy, but it's also my Hot Rod. I can beat on it and raise some hell, and put it in 4wd for snow. It's like three vehicles in one.
yah my first choice on a new car was a challenger rt. but i coudnt get payments in the right spot for me. then i saw all the rebates they were having on these expresses. and ended up getting the truck like 100 dollars a month cheaper. now im on the run to be able to beat rt challenger. and im so glad i got my truck cause since ive bought it ive moved 3 times. its saved me alot of headaches.
Isn't trans tuning more or less adjusting for part throttle shift points? At least that's what it is with SC. I should know I've written hundreds of trans tuning shift schedules for SC and none of them are designed for WOT.
These 0-60 runs are all WOT runs, may I ask how WL and his trans tuning contribute to faster times? WOT runs are all open loop PCM mode which is a different set of parameters than closed loop mode. Can someone tell me how WL's trans tuning can make for faster times other than adjusting the WOT RPM shift points which is open loop? (pre-set parameters)
Don't get me wrong, trans tuning is awesome but only for part throttle shifting and tm reduction for enhancing everyday driving.
Dusterman, I was watching a bunch of your YouTube videos of your 0-60 WOT runs, stock tune vs. tune w stall vs WL's trans tuning and all are very similar times, some spinninig some not, you even claim to have a sub 5 second run well before trans tuning, sorry, not but I'm getting it.
Not trying to cause trouble, I'm just curious.

if i remember right rts have always wieghed more than expresses
The only thing that may weigh more is a few interior pieces.
You may wanna scale it....it may be even more impressive than you think.
I know my fiberglass bedcover and other stuff in the bed probably added 150lbs or so and I weigh about 230 but it still seems heavy.

Love the Challengers, my truck's almost paid off so I've been window shopping a second vehicle. Starting to see some used '09 SRT8's for a decent price around here.
