Will it fit?

So I have my MF catback on the way and I know that the muffler it comes with is a 22". I have a 14" mufflex at home and I'm wondering if I'd be able to swap em and still fit on the MF tubing.

I'm thinking you will have to add some pipe either before or after the muffler to make up for the length difference. Also, if I'm not mistaken, the Mufflex outlet pipes are 2 1/4" and the MF system uses 2 1/2" pipe. I haven't tried it myself, but it may need some adapters for the difference in diameters. They should be easy to find. I recently found some 2 1/4 to 3" adapters for my custom tips at Summit.

EDIT: just remembered that the Mufflex comes with the extra pipe length welded in, so the length should be OK. Only have to deal with the different diameters.
