good day ram lovers. I’m in need of a schematic for a 2010 ram 1500 for the TIPM/TCM/ECM/BCM. I am integrating my Holley dominator into my truck and I want to keep all the factory functions such as gauges, a/c, Cruise control etc etc. Every dealer I go to have no idea what to give me. So I’m looking to see if anyone knows where I can get a detailed wiring schematic.

Thanks guys

Did you ever find the schematics for your 2010 ram 1500? I am in need of them as well. I have a brand new battery and also new alternator, but battery still will not charge.

Inspect and clean all connections on the battery, alternator and large gauge red wires.
Inspect the crimp lugs for a bad crimp or being loose at the wire connection point.
Then make certain they're all tight.

Test the fusible link between the alternator output and the battery with a multimeter.
My truck has a couple of them incorporated into the positive battery clamp; they are 120A and 180A.

To test the fusible links, leave the engine/key off, and the battery voltage should be available on both sides.

Next, you will need to study voltage drop measurement.
You're best to verify all the large-gauge red wires, but specifically along the path from the alternator output to the battery.

The wires and connectors may look OK visually, but internally, they may have a substandard loss, which could be creating a voltage drop. This voltage drop can only be measured while actively drawing current.

This video is a bit long, but it teaches the principles of voltage drop very well.

And, welcome.gif to Ram Forum.

Thank you!!

You're most welcome.

As I mentioned in the other thread, if you require any clarification on anything mentioned above, feel free to ask questions.

A digital multimeter will be required for the testing above. A basic model will be less than $20 at Walmart or Harbour Freight. We can teach you the basic operations.
