Wiring truck bed cap

Purchased a new cap for my 2014 RAM 3500, it has the keyless lock system, the cap locks and unlocks with the factory truck remote, I am looking for anyone who has schematics or has done this wiring job before, which harness do I splice into and which wires carry the lock and unlock signals?

I think I should be splicing into the tail gate harness right behind the rear bumper as both those signals go to the tailgate already but can't figure out which color coded wires carry those signals to the tailgate lock.

Any help is appreciated.
