wont shift to high gears when warm

hey guys im new to this forum i have a question i got a 99 dodge ram 1500 318 5.2 automatic 2 wheel drive when i drive it it shifts fine until it warms up then it wont shift to 3rd or higher it just wines and wont shift i replaced the shifting sensors and the shifting cable and put new oil and filter in it idk what if i need to rebuild the transmission or if you guys know wat it is thankyou ahead of time

when you dropped the pan to change fluid and filter did you inspect to see if you had metal shavings in the pan?
