My friend has an 05 HEMI and when he starts it from being cold or not running for a while it starts and turns over just fine. But after driving around town and when the truck has reached operating temp it starts very hard and he says you have to depress the throttle to get it running?!! Any ideas why this happens??

Sounds like build up on the TB or an injector leaking. Always start with the same question whats its current miles and last maintance.

I had a similar problem on my '07 Charger... never had to hit the loud pedal to get it started tho.

Miles are low... I think around 40k and just simple plug change is all i think has been done. But this guy does run the cheap gas in this truck!!! Not smart

I recently had the same issue with my 05. I cleaned the throttle body and it still did it. I decided i needed to check the fuel injectors and when i did i found two leaking. I replaced the two and the truck starts right up every time.
