Would 265 50 20 be ok on my 11 Ram

I had 265 60 20 on my ram? Would the 50 look much smaller and would it be harder on gas? Could i go down to 18' or even 17'? If so what size?
Any other info would be great

You're about a half inch shorter in overall diameter, and about half inch narrower in tire width.

Don't think it would be any harder on gas, but why the smaller tire size? You're speed if you were going 60MPH on your speedometer, you would be shy of one mile an hour slower.

Thats really close to a 31" tire vs a 33" stock. Why do you want to go smaller? They'll work it'll feel like you went to a lower gear ratio, which you essentially will be.
