Gonna install Saturday myself. For those whom have already installed, Are 2 floor jacks really needed for lifting the cab and bed?

if you have really tall jack stands, you might be ok but you need to lift the cab /bed evenly on each side as you do the work.

You know I was wondering why do you have to remove the grille and headlights. I have the chrome bumper with the painted cover and as far as I can see to remove the front bumper is just the 6 nuts. The grille etc lifts with the body it looks like. Am I missing something.

well I went out last night just to remove the bumper so this morning I could get started first thing. By the time I called it a night I had the cab spacers in. 1.5" in my situation I think looks perfect. Anyways on to the putting the front bumper back on and tackling the rear today. Still trying to figure out the best way to lift the bed evenly.

As i suspected you DO NOT need to remove the Grill, headlights, or bumper cover if you have a chrome bumper.

The washers needed a little persuasion to come off the bolts but they will come off.

The Back Cab bolt was a little tight getting off but went slow and it came out.

Any ideas on how to cover the tow hook holes without replacing the plastic insert welcome also:)

I’m In the middle of doing the cab, on step 16, it says the rear cab mount will get the large factory block with a new 12mm washer. I’m not sure what they are talking about here? Any idea?
Also what is this used for?

That's the spacer that goes under the middle of the bumper it holds it up so it lines up with the 2 bolts behind the licence plate. U leave it wedged in there hole down
There are 2 washer's in one of the bags it's the only to washer's that of the same size they go on the bolt that goes to the rear of the cab mounts reuse the big round thing that comes off with the boltl when you take it out.

I was thinking this route pre-Vararam. Still could make it work with some backyard ingenuity I suppose...
Watching thread...

Ty!!!! Figured out the washers for the rear cab. These instructions are horrible! I’m using the Zone, RC and PA instructions to try and figure it out.

I bought the 1.5. Didn’t wanna go higher than that. I didn’t do any real off-roading anymore so I can’t report on that.

cool. that's what I was thinking. the price is right and it sounds like something i could do myself. I just like the look of a bit of a lift. so you went with it for the looks? are you staying stock tire size or going up a bit? will you post pics?

1.5 for me also. It's sits right where I want it now. I have Bills at 2.8 and 1.5" spacer in the back and the BL makes it perfect.

I only installed 2 of the crush blocks cause I did not want to take off my fender liners again. they are a pain in the ass with flares. I also could not get my hane in there to put the push pins in so they are just wedged for now. Someday I will address that.

Over all went pretty smooth and rides great. No rattles etc.

I did find out you do have to remove grill and headlights to get chrome bumper back on cause the bumper cover had to come off.

The zone instructions do suck and I also referenced the RC and PA 3" instructions

only drill out the middle hole where the slot is, not the holes where the stock bolts go :-0

dont ask how i know? damn crappy instructions :- )

Yes I drilled all three holes. The instructions were almost useless. I had a few extra bolts being I don’t have a spare tire (train horn mounted there).
