2012 Ram 1500 Laramie towing 30' camper

Just finished a 2000 mile round trip out west in our new-to-us 2012 Laramie pulling our 2016 Pioneer 30' TT. Everything pulled awesome. We were planning to pull with our 2005 Escalade, but ended up buying the truck after totaled our Mazda two weeks before the trip. I couldn't be happier with the performance.

Thats awesome. We just picked up a 32' jayco this past weekend. We towed it home ( 150 miles )with my father in laws tundra using the curt WD hitch set up. His truck had the brake contoller installed already so i decided to use his truck instead of mine. Our trailer comes in at around 8000 lbs so i def. wont use my ram to tow it until i get that brake controller installed. I had never used a WD hitch before and was amazed how much of a difference it made when towing such a heavy trailer.

I have a,2013 ram 4×4 factory installed brake controller.heavy duty airlift bags. I tow a,33 keystone cougar. When loaded its about 8500lbs. And I have no problems..longest trip one way was 950 miles
