I would like to install a 7-way plug in the box for my gooseneck trailer. I know Ram/Mopar offers a kit that includes a harness that taps into the bumper plug and the 7-way plug to mount in the box. I really like the look of the factory setup which includes a plastic "adapter" that the 7-way plug mounts in (which is not part of the add-on kit). It also gives more clearance for the wiring to plug in inside the box/fender area. Does anyone know the the part number for this plastic piece in the picture that the 7-way plug is mounted in? Pic is from a 2016 model I saw at a fair earlier this year. Have looked on Mopar.com but cannot get anything to load other than the Ram Accessories.

Thanks for sharing the video. That is very similar to the Mopar kit 82212195 which I believe is the same as the Pollack kit etrailer offers.

The piece I am looking for is the black piece held on by the 2 larger screws in the picture that "offsets" the 7-way plug. Pretty sure is dealer only, which is fine, just trying to get a p/n to use to chase it down.

Have the dealer parts department look it up, you may want to grab the vin of that truck.
You'll have to do a bit of cutting to get clip nuts mounted behind that plug to bolt it into place.

If you have to drill the hole for the 7 pin you really don't need that part. There is plenty of room behind the inner wall for the cable. Other than making the hole for the plug it is plug-n-play. it seems you want it to look factory but that part is not necessary to functionality.
