Looking at the pacesetter Mid's for my 07 2wd ram hemi. it says they are direct bolt in with no modification. is there any concern about 02 sensor ports.
Thanks for the help.

I am not a fan of the mids myself. They are the same price as longtubes, but only offer half the gain. They are also a very slow seller, so availability is tough at times. We don't currently have the mids in stock, so I would need to call Pacesetter to check their inventory. We always keep the longtubes in stock in both painted and ceramic coated.

On and a few heat cycles, gotta love how they look under the hood and you can see them when you walk by hinding behind the inner skirts.

The Off road Y kit makes the swap easy and you can have the openings on your stock cats opened up to 3" so you can reuse them and pass emmisions. Only concearn is if you have to have a C.A.R.B cert id, not sure of all the rules over that way.

So i am looking for ease of install really. The carb thing I am not worried about. Getting the truck registered in WI soon so no need for the pesky smog. One of the advantages of being military. So what is involved with getting the CATS to fit 3inch tubes.

Also wondering if anyone saw an increase in MPG with these? Need a way to justify them to the fiance. I would think with a better flow you would increase your MPG.

They will let the truck breath a ton easier, keep your foot out of it and you will pick up some mpg. An exhaust shop can open up your cats for not a lot of $$.

The whole system can be clamped with either the cheaper u style clamps or go ahead and get the wider band clamp style. The only section I had welded was the elbow on the driver side because the band clamps I used did not want to seal the pipe all the way.

ok So by my count i need the LT pacesetters, the off-road Y-pipe, Mopar gaskets, the wide clamps, and the nice header bolts discussed on the LT DIY.

Where can i buy the clamps and the bolts?

Double check with Matt we can prob get them. Your bolt choices are Stage 8 locking bolts, Grade 8 bolts with lock washers, or 6.1 exhaust bolts with the locking compound.

They are the better of aftermarkets but I would still get the OEM ones

I highly recommend the 6.1L bolts for ease of installation and the thread lock compound already on them.

I see the ARH headers come with grade 8 bolts. why would the 6.1 bolts be any easier to install?

The head on the 6.1 bolts are 10mm so its easier to put a wrench or socket on them. Most of the other bolts are 13mm heads which make it alill more tight against the primarys.
