Help finding Ram parts

Hey guys im new to this whole forum thing but i figured theres a lot of ppl that could help me out. I recently got a 89 ram w100. Its in good condition just needs some TLC. The main thing im looking for is a chrome grille assembly The one that says dodge across the top. I found the grill on ebay but only the ones that are just all chrome. im also trying to find little things like new badges, door handles, wheel well trim and tailgait handle. Ive been lookin around just want sure if there was a place where i could find it all at one place. Any help you guys could hive or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Im afraid you are out of luck trying to find reproduction parts for the 1st Gen trucks (1972-1993) no one seams to reproduce anything for them like they do for Chevy/GMC and Ford F150.
the only way i see is from salvage yard or finding NOS parts from the dealer,you just need to know the part number or have someone at your dealer that is willing to chase numbers...

on another note I called LMC truck and asked about parts for the 1st Gen Rams or Dakotas. was told they wern't interested in stocking parts for them..not popular enough...

^^ what he said. I've got an '83 I've slowly been working on and finding any body or trim parts is next to impossible if a local salvage yard of eBay doesn't have them...

Yeah thats what im slowly finding out. And thats stupid for lmc. I know 5 guys just from my town that wiuld love if lmc had 1st gen stuff. I have a buddy that works at a dealerahip ill see if he could at least look up a part number for me

maybe everyone should contact LMC truck for more 1st gen rams and Dakotas....that might change their minds...

Agreed hemitom. I just went to the site but only contact infoni ciuld find was a couple numbers and some address no email. Ill call them later i guess

They're actually having a sale now so if you check soon, you'll get a good deal as their prices are already better than LMC's

Rockauto also sells grilles along with many many other parts. Most of the time they're better than LMC too, but they're a good source too if you're looking for specific parts.
