Hey folks! I just brought home my new truck yesterday.
I have a little issue that's been ongoing with, what I think is the carb. The truck is an 83 Miser, 225 slant six with a carter 2bbl carb.
The truck cranks over nice and strong, but recently it won't fire up. I know it has been running REALLY rich. I put new plugs in a few weeks ago and it's only been driven maybe 10 miles and the plugs are black! I know very little about carbs- this is my first carbed motor I've owned so hopefully you guys can help me out. I do have a rebuild kit for the carb but would like to see if I can resolve the issue easily first!
