My 15 2500 has had a steering clunk for a little bit. After chasing it for days it seems that the clunk is coming from the gear box. The truck is also making a sucking sound when I turn the wheel, as well as it feels like it's getting harder to turn. Fluids are full, still very drivable, but taking to the dealer on Wednesday to see what can be donebc5bb0dc74ab17badff0e36ab0840fcc.jpghttps://vimeo.com/188726168

Don't know if this is the same issue or possibly related. I've read on other forms (Cummins) guys that have lifted/leveled and/or run oversized tires add this or a like product to beef up the steering box.

Dodge Ram Steering Gear Box Stabilizer

I have one installed as seen in the last picture. Put it on the same time as the level, wheels and tires.

Is it just the image warping the pic or are your springs bowed? Something looks funky there.

Coils are bowed, as are all radius arm Rams

With stock coils? From my understanding they are all bowed a little

I bought one of those, but I haven't installed it, yet. The Pittman arm nut, supplied with the kit, was very poorly machined. I had to machine my own nut to properly fit the threads of the steering box shaft. If yours was anything like mine, and you used it, that nut is loose/stripped.

That isn't saying much, my factory pitman arm nut was hand tight when I installed a brace at 2500 miles.

I got mine from Rough Country. I'll take a look at it to see if that's the culprit. I was going to remove my intermediate steering shaft and greasing it up. Read on CumminsForum that many people have this clunk I'm chasing, and that solved it for several.
