Hey all,
Noticed the other day that Ive got a bit of lag when cornering from one direction to the other. Feels like about an inch or so in both clockwise and counter clockwise direction before the front wheels actually start to turn. Any thoughts on what to check first? Thanks in advance!

Or the steering shaft. Have someone move the wheel back and forth while you look at the u-joint in the shaft. check for play. Mine was bad, got to probably 2 or more inches of play in the wheel. Then I went to the salvage yard, found 2 that would fit, if someone hadn't hacksawed through the u-joint to get the steering box out, instead of loosening ONE bolt. So instead of 15 or 20 bucks, it cost me over 200 for a new one.
