Stock exhaust pipe size????

Is the stock exhaust pipe going into and out of the muffler on a 2014 2500 gas 3 inches??? I thought that was what I measured and in doing some reading came across something that someone said 3 1/2..... How bout it does anyone know specifically???

Now do you know if the 3.5 is inside or outside diameter of the pipe????? I know I am pushing it!!!!!!

Is there a difference between the 5.7 and 6.4 exhausts? If so it matters what the op has.

The exhaust is not 3.5 inches for those that want to know in the future and happen to bring up this post in a search. It is 3 inches....Maybe it is 3.5 for diesels or the 6.4 but its definitely only 3 inches for the '14 5.7 gas......

Ten points for me. I think the Cummins gets 4", the 6.4 gets 3.5" and the 5.7 gets 3", nice and confusing.
