Looks like I'll be installing a 2 inch leveling kit when I get new tires. I finally have the tire choices narrowed down to Cooper Discoverer STT Pros and Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Planning on going 295x65x20. Can anyone tell me which tire would be better? Last longer? Not as noisy? Not planning on doing any real off roading or mudding. Just wanting an aggressive looking tire that's pretty good on the highway and not too loud. Let me know pro/cons for each and which would be better suited on a 2014 Ram 2500 Mega Cab!

Thanks,
Justin

I run the 295 ridge's on the magacab. They ride very well and are lasting even better about 8k on them and they look new still. They're extremely quiet compared to the STT pros. My brother runs a set of 295's on his Chevy, and he loves them. But if you're not going off-road you're kinda just wasting them. They work incredible off road.
The ridge's work well off-road, I've pulled my parents horse trailer outta the mud a few times, and one of he places we go ride is straight sloppy red clay roads. It takes 4wd but I can haul a 7k pound horse trailer up to the meeting spot.

i have the stt pros on my lifted 2500 and the Nitto Ridge grapplers on my 12' JKU. took the JKU up a very nasty, rutted out hill that was all sand and clay (limestone is prominent here in SE MN) and we made it up. the 2500 is quieter for sure, but they BOTH look sick! slight edge to the STT Pro.

May want to check out the Toyo RT. They are about like the nittos but have a 45000 mile warranty I believe...

Running 37s STT PROs on my 2500 and ran them on my Jeep LJRubicon as well. Great tire that is reasonably quiet for what they are and wear great. They also are fantastic in anything you can throw at it including clay, they clean out well. They are a bit much for daily use compared to Ridge Grapplers though, you're not really comparing tires in the same class. I almost went Ridge Grappler but got to good of a deal on the STT PROs.
