I am starting this thread to document my Power Wagon build. I will keep this thread up to date with all my mods rather than have numerous separate threads. To get started, here is what it looked like the day I drove it home. I swapped out my HID projector lights from my old truck at the dealer, as well as my short antenna.

Here are the added options on the truck from the window sticker:
  • Power Premium Cloth Bench Seat
  • Luxury Group
  • Technology Group
  • Power Sunroof
  • Remote Start
  • Security Alarm
  • Power Adjustable Pedals
  • Spray in Bedliner
  • Trailer Tow Mirrors
  • Engine Block Heater (Not sure why this was added on a truck in Dallas...)

Here are pics of the projector headlights from the old truck and a pic of how I attached the winch hook. Also, a pic of my Husky WeatherBeater floor mats taken from the old truck as well. The mud is from my first offroad trip. Nothing special, just an old muddy dirt road. Got to put it in 4L and try out the lockers. I was able to lock the rear after a minute but the front never would lock. I will have to play with it later. I also installed my Bestop PowerBoards yesterday from the old truck. I won't be doing any hard core offroading so I shouldn't bash these up. The frame rails also hand a little lower than the steps when folded up so they should be fine.

Got the exhaust done and the windows tinted yesterday. Went with a Magnaflow 14" muffler with 3" I/O and dumped it after the rear axle. It sounds awesome but not obnoxious in the cab. Window tint is 15% on the two front windows and a 5% strip on the windshield.

I have also ordered a RollBak retractable bed cover that should be here this week as well as bed lighting like I had on the old truck. The Pioneer stereo and Alpine Amp and 10" sub from the old truck will also be going in soon.

Thanks guys!

And just for fun, here is my rendering of what I eventually want it to look like. I had planned to remove the red stripe, but I actually like it now that I have seen it in person...

Badass. Maybe the headlights should have a hint red in it. I think that would be badass.

That would look good, but I think I will keep them all black. They might look odd if I ever remove the decals and that's the only red on the truck. I don't want to crack them open again to re-paint...

Well as far as the block heater engines get cold do jesh lol.

Looking good so far i think we mod guys should get kick backs from dodge cause we take great looking trucks and make them even sexier.

Why would dodge put a block heater on a gas engine ? That is weird

I have no clue, but it's a $90 option on the window sticker... Probably will never get used... I guess I could put it on a timer to come on a couple hours before I get ready to go somewhere on a cold day.

Because cold starts (like sub zero) aren't easy on any engine. Why it was on a Dallas truck is beyond me. My '00 360 had one, it got used a couple times when we were in the single digits. I've thought of looking into one for my Ram.
